S1.E24 ∙ The Webcycle: the faster you pedal, the faster your internet goes.

A multi-episode post-documentary film about the war in Ukraine, created using theatre techniques. It takes us back to the first three weeks of Russia's full-scale invasion, a time when life was divided into "before" and "after", when the problems of strangers became family, and when a common misfortune united. The film is made in the format of video diaries that Ukrainians have been recording since 24 February 2022 in different cities and countries, under fire, in a bomb shelter, under occupation or in exile. The film collects real-life stories and testimonies of people who are living through the war and explores its impact on people. Ukrainian artists talk about their own experiences, share their thoughts and feelings.

Today, the City of Austin will launch the 122nd Cadet Class which is an 8-episode series that follows Austin Police Department cadets and instructors through a rigorous 8-month training academy. "The Austin Police Department is extremely honored to be showcasing the world class training our men and women must go through during cadet training," said Chief of Police Art Acevedo. "We hope this series will provide an opportunity for people to see the comprehensive training provided at APD and we hope that this will encourage residents to consider the Austin Police Department as a future place to work." The entire production was produced in-house by Channel 6 staff. "This is unique programming for a government channel and the staff at Channel 6 are very proud of this production." Senior Video Producer Jonathan Uhl states. "122nd Cadet Class is another example of the City of Austin's dedication to producing high quality, educational programming about the City of Austin."
