"Tranquil Buddhas" (30 min) continues the travel towards the northern parts of the country through the ruined Ayuthaya, once famous capital of Thailand, through the tranquil Buddha statues of Sukhotai, another capital, and the ruins of Si Satchalanai and Thalang. "Hill Tribes, Poppy Culture, and Ancient Khmers" (47 min) We travel into the forbidden land of the once drug-ridden Golden Triangle around Chiang Rai and Mekong River where we visit hill tribes, returning through Lampang with a short stop at the Burmese border town of Thatchlik continuing towards the eastern part of Thailand, once a part of the Khmer kingdom, where we visit two main temples, Phimai and Phanom Rung.
