Dahling Nick is a docu-drama exploring the life and works of National Artist for Literature Nick Joaquin, who only accepted the National Artist Award on the condition that the Marcos administration release a well-known writer who was being unjustly detained during Martial Law.

In the nearly half century after World War II in Hungary the communist dictatorship applied every possible means to persecute Christian churches. Hundreds of innocent priests and monks were imprisoned; others were roped in the network as agents of the State Security Services. The documentary is an authentic, valid and emotional testimony about the victims and the traitors of this era. Cathartic destinies and dramatic events of the past are recalled through the memories of the survivors, reports of state security agents and conversations tapped by the secret services. Contemporary newsreels, extract from private diaries, previously unknown documents, reports of secret agents, observation photos of the State Security Services and short reconstruction scenes evoke this historical period. The structure of the film based parallel on the memories of the victims and the reports of the agents of the secret police. The memories of the witnesses of the era and the documents are built organically into the intensive visual world of the film. Dynamic camera movements, steadicam-, aerial- and cinejib-shots present the stations in the lives of confessors and traitors: the scenes of prisons, court rooms, monasteries and secret ordinations.

A feature-length essay pushes a boundary between documentary and narrative film forms. A filmmaker's personal journey to reconnect with her sister, a successful potter living in the ruins of Fukushima is interlocked with her spiritual quest of bridging east and west, feminine and masculine and shadow and light in her mind.

'Lonely Swallows' is a documentary film which follows the struggles of Japanese-Brazilian kids living in Japan. In Hamamatsu, the city of automobile factories, there are over hundred thousand young Japanese-Brazilians who came to Japan when they were very young with their immigrant parents. Many of them drop out after junior high school, and start working at factories. Due to economic recession, many of their families lose their jobs, and they are now forced to return to Brazil. The film follows five Japanese-Brazilian kids struggling to realize their dreams while they are torn apart from families, friends and lovers over the course of two and half years.

Passing Poston is a portrait of four Japanese-Americans whose lives were shaped, defined and impacted on by the time they spent forcibly interned during World War II. A character driven documentary of several former internees of the Poston Relocation Center, who, in the last chapter of their lives, are still trying to find meaning in the inexplicable, and trying to come to terms with the tragic events of a past that continues to haunt them.
