Summary Beginning of the journey at the Southern Ridges canopy walkways: Sophie enjoys the canopy walkways (18 meters above the ground).Then Sophie meets Mathilde Bagein (The Theater Ensemble) and they make a bike tour through Chinatown, the Merlion statue and look at the Marina Bay Sands, the Science Museum and the Theater Center (with the shape of a durian fruit).Then they go to the Gardens by the Bay: the supertree grove: Tan Ching Chong explains them how these artificial trees are covered with creeping plants and on the top there are solar panels.: also the rain waters are recovered for other crops of these Gardens.Then Mathilde and Sophie go to the "Lau Pa Sat " market and taste a white radish cake). Then in the Little India they meet Manisha Joshi, a theater professor and actress: they make a "rangoli", floor decoration with rice powder and they pay a visit to a Hinduist temple (Deepavali celebration).In the French School of Theater Mathilde gives a class of traditional Asian dancing.Later Sophie meets Malcolm Lee (Michelin star chef) who shows her the "Pangium edule" nut : they buy some nuts in the market and cross the Botanical Garden founded in 1859 and arrive at the restaurant of Malcolms: he prepares beef, rice and a sauce made with Pangium.After that Sophie is at the Park Bukit Timah where she meets Mark Choo who is in charge of the National Garden of Orchids: they visit the garden, the greenhouse and the laboratory (where they make an orchid seed germination in vitro).Later Sophie meets again Mathilde for a tour with a "pirogue polynésienne" near some wild islands.Sophie meets also Andrea Nichols, the manager of the marine conservation program, a team of divers is observing the coral reef and the marine fauna.After that Sophie goes to the House of the Clan where she meets Lynn Wong, a Kung Fu champion; she explains her the story of this House and Sophie sees traditional Chinese dances of the Lion.Finally Sophie is on the island of Sentosa where she meets Kyra Poh who invites her to the Indoor sky diving: the tornado wind tunnel and for the first time Sophie is sky diving.
