Summary Beginning of the journey at the Lake Lovatnet: Ismaël meets there Matthieu Tordeur and they swim in the cold waters of the lake.Then Ismaël and Matthieu are in Bergen: they take the funicular railway of the Fløybanen to Mount Fløyen: Matthieu talks about his crossing of the Antarctic in 2018.Then they return to Bergen, visit Bryggen, the wooden houses neighborhood and they go to a fish shop where they buy a dried cod (stockfish).They travel to the Fjord Hardanger where they meet Robin Dale Oen who manages the Academy called "Dale Oen experience", they make a kayak trip on the fjord, they visit the chalet with green roof of Robin Dale.On the morning they meet the young men at the Academy: today boat tour to an islet and climbing a 25 meter high wall: these physical challenges help the young to their self improvement: Then Matthieu and Ismaël take in Bergen the Coastal Express of Hurtigruben company and they will stop at the island of Svanøy: Ismaël meets Gro Sveeen who is harvesting branches of juniper for the smoking of salmon. Then they meet Trond Sveen , Gro's father, who manages a salmon farm since 1972: with an electric boat they go the the farm, where they meet Elin Tyeit Sveen, Gro's mother.: 4 pools with 90.000 fishes each one, high technology (automatic feeding, water control, etc), control of the salmon louses using the cleaner fishes called wrasses.In the night Matthieu has joined Ismaël and they have supper with all the Sveen family: smoked salmon or sushi salmon. Then Matthieu and Ismaël walk in the mountains to reach the Storbreen glacier, the walk then with crampons on the glacier and meet Liss Marie Andreassen, a glaciologist who has been studying this glacier for 20 years ( 200 meters back), later they go to Lake Juvvanet and they visit an ice-cave where also they can see the consequences of the climate change.In the mountain they make a bivouac and they can see the polar lights (aurora borealis). We see also zooms about the hiking in the wilderness (Catherine,Suzanne, Monika and Mathilda), about Thomas and Simona who have a van and travel through the country, about the inhabitants of the island of Fedje who invite other Norwegian people to live on their island, about the Hurtigruten Coastal Express (its beginning in 1883 with a steamboat, now the ship connects 33 ports of the Western Coast between Bergen and Kirkenes), now with tourists who want to see the polar lights), about the lutefisk (a modern preparation made of dried cod), about the "smalahove" , the lamb's heads , about the local breed of sheep managed by Berit Ophus, about the modern knitting of sweaters in the Norlender factory, about Else Bysheim , an artist who makes sculptures of wool and about Virgile Reglioni, a photographer who lives in Tromsø and shows to other photographers to make nice pictures of the polar lights.
