Summary Beginning of the journey in the railway station of Moutiers: Sophie meets Béatrice Chevalier and they travel by car to Le Praz: Béatrice manages there a chalet with rooms for the guests.Then Sophie meets Pascal Breyton , a mountain guide and they make a snow shoes walk through the forests: Pascal enjoys these snow shoes walks because he has plenty of time to see the landscape and to speak with his visitors.They arrive at the "Tour de Glace": an artificial ice structure for climbing: Siphie climbs first ,then Pascal climbs also.The next day Sophie is at La Tania where she meets Julien Machet (the third chef of Courcheval to have a Michelin star): Julien and Adel Dakkar are giving chestnut pastries to the visitors of La Tania.Then Julien and Sophie goes to the farm of Julien's grandmother (the garden with thyme and others herbs, the barn with hay).Later they go to the cellar of the fromager affineur Gael Machet (Julien's brother) where she sees how Gael is taking care for the Beaufort cheese.After that they go back to the restaurant of Julien (Le Farçon): Julien prepares "crozets" with Beaufort cheese: Gael and Adel Dakkar arrive and all enjoy the meal prepared by Julien. Besides Sophie tastes the hay syrup ( a local beverage).Later Sophie meets Sébastien Rinolfi with his Mousquetaire ski plane: they have a nice flight over the forest and land at the airport of Courchevel (only certified pilots can perform flight in this airport).Then Sophie goes to the Coeur équestre des Trois Vallées where she is received by Anne Huissoud Colombier, they have a horseback riding in the snow and later Frank Colombier (Anne's husband) is helping Sophie to practice ski joring (a person on skis is pulled by a horse).In the afternoon Anne and Sophie go to Méribel and have a head massage in the spa managed by Charlene Viret. Then Sophie meets Julie Basset, the driver of the snow groomer, they have a ride with the machine and Julie explains how she is preparing the ski trails. In the night Sophie is with Béatrice and other friends and they enjoy a fondue. After that Sophie travels to Val Thorens where she meets Denis Chapuis, who has participated in the beginning of his ski resort:he tells the story of the cable-car of the Carron who contributed to the growth of the ski resort: they meet Corentin Aurard and Youri Duplessis-Kergogard , two members of the French team of Ski Cross: Sophie sees how they are going down the slopes.Then Sophie and Denis go also down the slopes and they all meet at the chalet "La Folie Douce": techno music and dancing; Fabien Kisoka explains that since 6 years they organized these afternoon evening in this chalet. Besides we see zooms about the story of Les Menuires et Val Thorens, about the new activities in the ski resort (snowshoes and yoga, para-motoring, parachute jumps from helicopters, the Piste des Indiens, le Aquamotion center), about Laurie Blanc and her restored chalet, about the mountain cabins of Le Nant Brun and Le Plan, about the nature reserve of Tuéda, about Jean-Marc Sullice , Rémi Chevassu and Serge Jay and about the students of the college of Moutiers (option Montagne) who learn ski mountaineering.
