Summary On a warm summer night in July of 1999, John F. Kennedy, Jr., his wife and her sister took off from a small New Jersey airport in his private plane. But as the trio made their way to Martha's Vineyard for a brief stopover, tragedy struck. At about 9:41 that evening, Kennedy's plane disappeared from radar and plunged into the Atlantic Ocean. Is it possible that Kennedy became disoriented and literally flew his plane into the ocean? Or has the U.S. Coast Guard uncovered evidence that would contradict that finding?
