Paul, a young man with Down syndrome, undertakes a journey to discover everything he can about what it is like to have Down syndrome in Australia in the 21st Century. This journey raises questions about diversity, equality and the acceptance of difference within our society. A moving, socially important and uplifting film everyone should see.

'Alpsummer' provides deep insight into everyday life in the alps of Central Switzerland. It tells the story of four families of different generations, who administer these alps with their animals in conventional ways. The modest life they chose to live during the summer also dictates the rest of the year's cycle. In a time in which society is more and more dependent on consumption, it's refreshing to see how a simple life can make us happy. Next to the ever-ringing bells of the goat and sheep, the breathtaking landscapes are accompanied by the archaic 'Naturjuuz' (and old way of jodeling).

The film shows traditional practices of food collection, production and consumption in a remote Eastern Tibetan village in Western China. The filmmaker is a young Tibetan student, and he narrates the seasonal food practices of his own family, some of which intersect with traditional Buddhist ritual practices.

Since the Independence war and throughout the Mexican revolution, itinerant musicians have been a long tradition in Mexico's history.Their songs reveal Mexico's cultural identity, depicting stories of war and romance, of struggles and corruption, of tenderness and loss. Music however, is not enough for their survival as we uncover their second identities as farmers and fishermen immersed in the reality of their personal lives. Our main protagonist, Gaby Aguirre, writes songs that reflect his harsh upbringing, shaped by the beautiful but endangered environment, the character of which constitutes the core of their threatened communities.
