A poetic exploration of womanhood, friendship and migration through the intersecting stories of two Latin American women.

Finnish Riitta, 66 and Kata from Uganda, 63 are closest of friends and together they are running sexual health and gender equality education in Uganda. Riitta has been in Uganda for 27 years. She has already passed the retirement age but returning to Finland feels daunting as her whole life is in Uganda. Suddenly Riitta and Kata find themselves trapped in chain of difficult events caused by anonymous allegation letter, addressed to Ugandan Parliament. Letter is accusing them for organizing workshops that are promoting and recruiting children to homosexuality.

Interview with a Barrel Baby. After the 1950's, Through special immigration policies, many governments encouraged thousands of women from ex-colonies to leave their native countries, leaving behind their husbands, children and extended families to pursue what was presented as a batter life. For many of these abandoned children the only thing they grew up to know of their mothers was the occasional arrival of goods in boxes, crates and barrels. Those children are call Barrel Babies. Will Brown is such a child.

This intriguing documentary explores the sexuality of transmen and the changes they experience as a result of their gender transitions from female to male. Transmen and their partners divulge the most personal secrets of their sex lives in revealing conversations and intimate interviews. Some erotic scenes are shown.

When his mother is attacked and killed by a lion, infant boy Boru is adopted by a passing tribe and raised by the tribe's chief. The young boy and the chief's son Nikitu grow up to become close friends and skilled hunters. When a drought threatens the tribe's existence, Boru and Nikitu traverse the countryside looking for a water source, only to get caught in the open when a lightning storm sets the tribe's homeland on fire.

Director Mikel Cee Karlsson is working on a film with and about his best friend Mathias - a young father who one day reveals that he is living a double life. Circumstances have driven Mathias into a criminal underworld where debts seem impossible to pay off. In a spiral of threats, lies and violence, Mathias is desperately looking for a way out. When things finally seem to look up for him, the pressure he has lived under for several years has fatal consequences, leaving Mikel forced to make crucial decisions about the film he is working on. Fraemling is a distinct counterimage to conventional portrayals of violence and criminality. Through documentary footage, interviews and re-enacted scenes, Mikel shapes a story about the thin line between victim and offender in a dog-eat-dog world. A film about close friendship, deafening silence and becoming someone you never wanted to be.
