Diamond Dust. Nothing is forever The once flowering diamond trade in Antwerp is under pressure. Jewish traders are losing more and more ground to their Indian competitors. The film shows a surprising inside look into the very closed diamond world in Antwerp. Diamond Dust shows how the Indian diamond dealers changed the diamond world in Antwerp; the accent shifts from quality and expertise to quantity and the trade in diamonds as commodity goods. In the diamond trade trust and family relations are everything. The Indian dealers profit from their large extended families, which gives them an advantage as global players in this very international trade. Mining-corporation De Beers has given further priority to them to the disadvantage of the middle-men and small dealers.

The Palast der Republik (Palace of the Republic) opened in 1976 as a meeting place for the East German people and an emblem of the future. The building's dazzling public lobby, surrounded by several tiers, was once the center of East Berlin's social life. Later, thousands of citizens demonstrated against the planned demolition and hoped the building would be protected against historical censorship, but alas, one day, twenty years after the fall of the Berlin wall, the Palace completely disappeared.

Transparent in the shade, opaque in the sun. Its melting point is, among metals, the highest. It was sought out to reinforce metal alloys. It increases the penetrative capacity of explosive projectile heads. It has the same density as gold. Gold and tungsten passed through the dormant train station of Canfranc during World War II. They wanted to silence the man who shed light on the issue of smuggling and the obscurity remains: how much gold passed through Canfranc between 1939 and 1945? Where did this gold come from? Where was it headed? Canfranc, gold and tungsten is a documentary that lifts the veil of this strange time of trafficking.
