Summary In the 3rd of a three-part series, Guy Martin contemplates, What does the future of UK energy look like? Guy makes his own home-built incandescent light-bulb based on the 1835 invention by James Bowman Lindsay. Nuclear generation is next in Guy's sights and a visit to 'Hinckley Point C' to see its construction. Over time these nuclear stations generate nuclear waste, so a visit to 'Sellafield' is in order. Finally Guy looks at the future of energy generation and helps conduct an experiment in nuclear-fusion that promises to be cleaner and safer, but is it the answer to our increasing energy needs ?.
