ADOPTED is delightful documentary about a very unusual cross cultural exchange! African families 'adopt' Western adults who are estranged from their own families. The film depicts the life of the three protagonists Gisela, Thelma and Ludger, their journey to their new families in Ghana and a process of anticipated closeness and inevitable misunderstandings.

In decades past, basketball put tiny Eldorado, Illinois on the map, and the Eldorado High School Band provided the enthusiastic soundtrack to each and every game and tournament. But like many small communities across America, a dying local economy and tightened funding forced the school district to severely cut or completely eliminate the music programs. For years, Eldorado was oddly silent, until past graduates, ranging in age from 18 to 80, came together and formed The Eldorado Alumni Band. On their way to helping restore a music program in the schools and raising money to buy instruments for students, this unlikely group of farmers, teachers, attorneys, and stay at home moms rediscover their love of music and reconnect to the glory days of their youth.

April defies the odds by living. But when she outgrows the school system and no adult day programming is available, her family must find a way for her to continue to thrive with meaningful work and relationships.

This is a documentary film about a Tibetan woman called Lhamo Tso who became unable to return to her home country, Tibet, after her husband Dhondup Wangchen, was arrested for 'political crimes'. It documents her and her family for 6 years between 2009 and 2014, while they sought asylum from Tibet in north India where the exile Tibetan government is based, then later took refuge in the USA where they live till now.

After 25 years of separation, filmmaker Kimberley Rose reunites with her foster sister Hali as they explore the five years they happily lived together on a farm with Kimberley's family and what happened after everything fell apart.
