Summary Growing up, Destinee never realized being born with a limb difference would make her stand out from other people. It was in her first year of kindergarten that the bullying started, which continued throughout school, having a huge impact on her confidence and self image. In January 2020, Destinee began making videos online, which started gaining people's attention. To her surprise she received lots of positive messages, particularly from people with the same disability. The responses completely changed her outlook and helped her to begin embracing her difference. She uses humor in her videos to challenge stereotypes and assumptions surrounding disabilities, which has brought her many followers on TikTok.
