Summary Accountants Martin and Clare Williamson-Cary have high flying careers in finance but live separate lives. Martin works weekdays in Slough and Clare in Devon, so Martin decides to give up his job and move with Clare and son Tom to Bratton Clovelly in Devon to convert a huge 18th century barn which sits in a farm belonging to Clare's parents. Although Martin had originally planned to stop work for six months, after only eight weeks in he has found a new job in nearby Torquay, but Carol has a great team behind her to help drive the project in Martin's absence.
