Summary George Clarke visits Shev and Lauren who, with their two sons, have purchased a 140 year old Victorian stone farmhouse in Mirfield in Yorkshire which has an horrific 1970s awkward brick extension. The extension is causing problems internally with the original layout, and with interiors that are outdated and in need of renovating, George helps the couple redesign what he has nicknamed their 'Frankenhouse'. In Taplow, Buckinghamshire, George meets Alastair and Anna, the owners of an 18th century gatehouse who need help changing the layout of their two tiny disjointed reception rooms which they want to convert into one large living space. The only problem is that the project is hindered by a huge chimney breast that is dividing the two spaces.
