'Slenderverse: The Rise and Fall of Slenderman' from director Alex Hera reveals new perspectives on how Slenderman developed into a viral icon, and how the artistic movement known as the Slenderverse was torn apart by a horrific true crime carried out in the name of the Slenderman, poorly received adaptations of the character, and the corruption of their movement from the inside. This is the story of the artists behind the icon... and the true, untold history of the Slenderman.
