Summary Seven persons, known only by the color of their clothes, are being hunted in some empty space by something willing to kill them. At nighfall they decide to rest; one of them has been wounded in a struggle with their persecutors. During the night, couples take turns to keep watch. During these watches, their true personalities star to show as well as the internal fights within the group for water, food, rest, leadership, etc. become visible. As the night goes on, one of the characters, Green, makes a proposal to Blue: there's a chance they can survive if they abandon the other five as bait for the enemy, while them two can run away. When the others wake up and realize that Blue and Green have left, they must face a dilemma: should they let the enemy catch them and kill them allowing the traitors to escape or...should they kill each other so the enemy carry on hunting the traitors?
