A young man (Tareq) adopts the extremist Jehadi ideology. Some extremists convince him to travel to Afghanistan to join the Taleban. After discovering that, his parents travel to Tora Bora in Afghanistan to look for him and bring him back safely to home after loosing all traces of him. In Afghanistan, the parents witness the dangerous changes that came upon this hot region of the world as they look for their missing son.

The Ilinden uprising was an organized revolt against the Ottoman Empire prepared and carried out by the Macedonian Revolutionary Organisation IMRO. In the Macedonian town of Krushevo the insurgents proclaimed the so called Krushevo Republic under the presidency of the ethnic Macedonian school teacher Nikola Karev. It was the first Republic in the Balkans, but it lasted only 10 days.

Before the wedding, Liao Chun Feng discovers her real identity and unable to live with himself, he comes clean about the truth before heading off to fight in the war. Realizing his importance to her, He Taohua decides to go after him despite the obstacles that stand in her way.
