Worker Juan Rivero goes to jail, and his wife Elena and daughter Sagrario are helped by Dr. Horacio Rueda, who falls in love with Elena. When Juan is released, the relationship ends, but Sagrario, now a charming young woman, plans to marry Dr. Rueda.

A series of short films made for the Petaluma, California Police Department and three local Petaluma High Schools through the "Every 15 Minutes" program. The three high schools (Petaluma High School, St. Vincent High School and Casa Grande High School) are rotated every year.

Journalist Silvia travels to the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo to shoot a documentary film. Immediately she is confronted with the reality on the spot. Only very few people seem to believe in the forthcoming first democratic elections. UN forces are helping rebel groups to inspire their confidence. And there are still renegade mercenary groups roaming the country-side indoctrinating children for war. Silvia has to realize, that the people are acting like figures in an absurd game, which rules she is unable to understand. The film tells a story of threatening everyday life in Congo and the possibilities of the individual to live/survive when playing his role.

The film deals with a young woman doomed to repeat the same horrific, and downright surreal, experience, over and over.
