Dragan & Madlaina

Summary Dragan and Madlaina accidentally meet in Zurich and fall in love. Madlaina is just 16 and is still looking for an apprenticeship. She is black, the adopted daughter of Swiss parents. Dragan is 21, a Serb. He is waiting for the appeals commission to decide on his request for asylum. When Madlaina asks him about his desertion he waffles and manages to side-step the question. Madlaina tries to help him but her plan fails. But their budding love affair survives being severely put to the test. Madlaina and Dragan travel together in a roundabout way to visit her grandmother. The latter sends them to a friend from her youth, Monti, to whom she is tied by a secret. All seems to be turning out for the best until Corro, Monti's servant, attacks Madlaina. View more details
