Summary As the 2024 Presidential election approaches, Donald Trump has increasingly courted Black voters, claiming, ''I've done more for the Black community than any president since Abraham Lincoln.'' However, his long history of racist rhetoric and problematic policies tells a different story. This short video critically examines Trump's actions and statements that have negatively impacted Black Americans, from his support of stop-and-frisk programs and encouragement of police brutality, to judicial appointees that have blocked DEI initiatives and gerrymandered maps. He has supported economic policies that have disproportionately impacted Black communities and used mocking language that paints Black people as criminals.
