The Yarns tells the story of a serial killer who leaves no traces, only strange knitted yarns placed on the victims. Inspector Pilanthorn partners with Sky, an autistic woman with an extraordinary ability to decode complex patterns, to uncover the meaning behind the yarns and stop the killer before the next murder takes place.

"Pae", a strict Thai monk, is contacted by a sister "Aom" that she is getting married and wants Luang Phi Pae to attend her wedding in Japan. Luang Phi Pae's go Japan with his sidekicks. When they arrive in Japan, "Chin", a Japanese monk come to pick up Luang Phi Pae and during the journey to the sister's resident, they encountered a group of Yakuza. After that Luang Phi Pae knows Chin is the one who gonna marry with his sister and known that Chin used to be a Yakuza before. Luang Phi Pae thinks that Chin must have deceived his sister.
