Summary This is a desert island movie with a twist; the desert is New York City, and the Island is the roof of an empty 30 story office building in downtown Manhattan. When Emma Hauser, an executive in charge of a coporate move, finds herself locked on the roof of her workplace with her estranged lover, Henry Smith, she is forced to confront her entire way of life as well as the lovelorn and increasingly unstable Mr. Smith. As hours slip into days with no rescue in sight, they learn to survive on the roof by eating pigeons and drinking rainwater.
