A Spanish girl is sent to a Swiss school where she befriends an American girl. After coming back home and getting married she invites her to pay them a visit. Problems will ensue.

Jennifer is a European girl who speaks Japanese a little. She arrives to the funeral in temple in Japanese countryside and meets a boy there. The boy is a juvenile delinquent and works his punishment in temple. Jennifer likes this silent boy and she wants to help him overcome estrangement from the people.
