Summary Isabelle Tanner is working as journalist in a fashion magazine in Frankfurt.Today her boss, Norma Desmond, has asked her to replace the editor of the magazine who is pregnant.Isabelle is happy to tell to Robert Koch , his boyfriend that she will be editor of the magazine.They go to a party, there Isabelle becomes angry because of the stupid comment of a guest and returns alone at home.In the night the police sergeant Michael Berger calls her to announce her the death of her father Bernhard, but she answers that her father died 20 years ago.On the morning she goes to the office and receives again a call of the police sergeant Michael Berger who confirms that she, Isabelle Tanner is the daughter of Bernhard ,who died yesterday in a car accident.In Griessberg Paul, the son of Bernhard and Melissa,the daughter of Bernhard were spending some days in the house of Daniel Knapp, the administrator of the farm.The same police sergeant Michael Berger looked for Daniel in the fields and told him the notice of the death of Bernhard and his wife: Daniel is in charge to announce the sad notice to both children. Isabelle goes to the house of grandfather Hans and grandmother Margarete to know the truth about her father.They tell her that her father was still alive and that they have broken their relationship with Bernhard many years ago.So Isabelle decides to travel to Griessberg: she nearly shocked with Daniel Knapp and two horses, she explains him that she goes to Griessberg and Daniel asks her if she is Isabelle Tanner. They go together to the farm and then Daniel Knapp presents Paul and Melissa to Isabelle.In the night Isabelle receives a call from Norma Desmond about the work and has to be tomorrow in Frankfurt for a meeting.So Isabelle asks Tina, her best friend to invent an excuse and to replace her in that meeting.
