After an accidental shooting during a morning of illegal poaching leaves a man dead, a group of friends covers up the death. As they try to move on with their lives, Raffi begins to crumble, and feels like someone is after him.

The Dreadnaughts are an ancient race of gargoyles living in modern day Los Angeles. Their leader Dresden has accumulated an army of bloodthirsty creatures that when released would bring a darkness upon the earth never seen before. An internal power struggle takes place between the Dreadnaughts when Dresden's successor is mysteriously killed.

Randy had always thought that having superpowers would be fun. He never believed it would happen to him. One fateful day, while working, he was hit by a massive pulse. The next thing he knew, he was in an underground laboratory surrounded by scientists. "Randy, we're sorry for what happened to you," the lead scientist said. "But we've given you a power that could change history." Randy was stunned. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. "The world is in grave danger, Randy," said the scientist. "This is why we chose you - because you're the only one who can help us stop it." "What's going on?" Randy asked. "A group of augment humans has taken over and fractured leadership across the globe," replied the scientist. "We need your help to stop them," said another voice in the room. Randy looked up and saw a superhuman form from his past - The Time Traveler. "I need your help, Randy!" The Time Traveler spoke with urgency. "Come with me if you want to save Earth!" "Activate your powers quickly!" yelled The Time Traveler. Without thinking twice, Randy agreed. With a sudden blast of light, they zipped through time and landed on 2050, Earth, where chaos reigns supreme due to riots. "You're now Soul Drift."
