Summary The story is about a mother's quest for justice. Tina's daughter is savagely murdered. Setting out Tina is determined to find answers. She comes to learn her adversary is Donald Fate. Donald chose evil when he was a living being. Brought back to spirit he continues to spread terror. Tina knows the police can't help because the answers are in the supernatural realm. Tina watches events and observes that the entire city is under siege by an unseen force. Other horrible killings begin. Tina learns the secrets of Donald's past. Donald's mother committed suicide, but discovers it is not the end. A second evil entity Daniel The Watcher who is Donald's mentor divulges to whom they both owe their allegiance. We witness Donald's death and his change to both body and spirit. Other residence of the city recalls paranormal events that have touched their lives as they try to understand the swirling danger hanging over them.
