Ebba Grön
After the failed occupation of the West German embassy in Stockholm in 1975, Norbert Kröcher started a group, Kommando Siegfried Hausner, which was inspired by the Red Army faction. he planned to hijack a plane to blackmail the West German government, but one of Kröcher's two Swedish female friends suggested kidnapping the government minister Anna-Greta Leijon instead. The Swedish police called the operation "Ebba röd". When the arrest of Kröcher was completed, on March 31, 1977, "Ebba Grön" was called out over the police-radio.

The West German police get to show off their effectiveness in identifying and apprehending terrorists.

The aftermath of the failed attempt to kidnap Swedish minister Anna-Greta Leijon led to a lot of arrests, detentions and deportations of suspected terrorists and left-wing radicals in Sweden. The activities at the Stockholm Refugee Council was monitored closely by the Swedish Security Service (SÄPO).
