As her 25th birthday approaches, an insurance saleswoman decides to leave her hometown for the first time to meet a man she found on the internet. She rents the spare room in a nice house and doesn't mind cleaning up after Faith and Samuel, her much-older landlords. She's comfortable in her quiet life, but can't shake the nagging feeling that something is missing. So, Georgia decides to cancel her appointments, pour out the cat food, and pack her bags to leave for good.

Most people readily agree that suicide is caused by a complex web of many different factors. However, for many people the concept of a single event resulting from the combined effect of a constellation of different factors (multiple causation) is imperfectly understood. Unfortunately, a naive understanding of multiple causation can lead to needless arguments about what "really" causes suicide, and pointless debate about the "right" point for preventive intervention. The bottom line is a mental disorder, also called a mental illness or psychiatric disorder, is a behavioral or mental pattern that causes significant distress or impairment of personal functioning. "Listen to the Silence" explores the counseling dynamics and distinctive scenarios where individuals chose to end their lives, ultimately ending the noise of the voices in their heads. The where is insignificant, the how is indifferent, the when is inconsequential, but the why needs to be explored. Stop talking and Listen to the Silence.

The few survivors of a deserted city, sometime in the near future, are left with no water or food but somehow manage to survive. In a hospital, a lonely scientist, Foteini, is helping a patient with amnesia to recover. She also meets an actor named Aias (Ajax) - who often visits his sick sister - and becomes romantically involved with him. Foteini is swept away by love; Aias, however, is unprepared for such strong emotions. Their separation brings Foteini to the house of the amnesiac, and he takes care of her, up to the moment that she discovers a photo of hers among his things. In the meantime, Aias brings his sister back home from the hospital. While it is getting darker, with clouds gathering in the sky, Foteini and Aias wander the city and meet in the rain.
