The welcome
Ibrahim Bei has a mole in a printing house in Bucharest, who informs him that Vasil Levski has left for Giurgevo and will arrive in Ruschuk. Levski however, outsmarts Ibrahim and his men and later finds out who the mole is.

Wedding
Ibrahim Bey forms a squad of 25 people to capture Djingibi. Levski seeks refuge in a village with the father of his friend from Vlach, who almost betrays him. By pretending to get married he escapes capture. Later his men swear an oath.

Criminals
After arriving in town, Levski goes to the church and reads a sermon to awaken the spirit of the Bulgarians. Chorbaji Drandyo recognizes him and betrays him to the Turks. Although wounded, Levski manages to escape, hiding under a bridge.

Sermon
Ali Pasha's adjutant arrives to help capture Levski. The Deacon travels by carriage to a city, posing as a journalist. His main task is to find Lazar, a member of the organization who, with his behavior, poses a danger to the cause.

The Pasha gives a reception for the arrival of some foreigners - famous geographers who are writing a book about the lands. In addition to geographical goals, the expedition also aims to destroy the myth about Levski.

The Turks have news that Levski is somewhere around Sofia. Nafz, nephew of the Matisarif, makes a plan - to announce that there will be a meeting. If the deacon refuses, he will be thought a coward, if he comes, he will fall into a trap.

Bulgaria wants Russia's aid and Midhad Pasha knows that Turkey must be on good terms with them. He is welcomed in Plovdiv. Levski, disguised as a Turk, goes to the Russian consulate to know their intentions. Will the Russians help?

It was one of us
Peasants rise against the Turks. The Turks kill one, and send two to court in Plovdiv. Levski and his comrades manage to help by replacing them with three Turks who had invaded an inn. The committee gather ammunition for upcoming uprising

Midhat Pasha vs. Baron Hirsh
Baron Hirsch, building the sub-Balkan railway line, and Mithat Pasha travel along to find out the reasons for rebel raids along the tracks. Weapons purchased in Istanbul for the needs of the uprising is also traveling on the same train.
