Debt

The film explores the relationship between a mother and a child. The central character Josy (Jayasurya) is brought up all by his mother Padma (Rohini). Josy's problems start with the return of his father (Lal).

A small town boy, (Justin), picked on by locals for being slow, wants nothing more than a simple life and the love of the local beauty, (Rachel). Despite the disapproval of his father figure, (Mr Fisher), and the threats of Rachels current boyfriend, (Bobby), Justin continues his pursuit of her. This obsession changes Justin, and in the end he lets nothing stand in his way to have her.

The Scarlet Curtain is a modern version of the myth of Dionysus and his Maenads ; it is about the story of Zoé, a young and unsuccessful actress, who falls under the poisonous charm of Dionysus, with whom she seals a venomous deal. Since then, her life becomes nothing else than success and bliss, but in return she has to submit to her Maenad functions, and serve the god for eternity.

Tongpan is a 1977 Thai 16 mm black-and-white docudrama that re-creates a seminar that took place in Northeast Thailand in 1975 to discuss the proposed Pa-Mong Dam on the Mekong. Interwoven are sequences depicting a poor farmer, Tongpan, who had lost his land to another dam some years before, and his struggles to make ends meet. Because of the film's socialist message and suspected communist sympathies of the filmmakers, it was banned by the Thai government. The 63-minute film was released on VCD in Thailand in 2006.

Thicker Than Blood tells the story of Jordan, the youngest of two sons, who returns home for the first time in three years to celebrate his older brother's promotion to partner in his law firm. During what's supposed to be a joyous afternoon of family, friends, and food, secrets are revealed, masks are uncovered, and some things are said that can't be taken back. A once tight-knit family is left broken and faced with the task of trying to figure out how to pick up the pieces and put them back together before losing each other forever.

"The Child Within" is a story about three young, pregnant women from Bulgaria, Belarus and China, who are lured to America with promises of respectable jobs and new lives. Shortly after their arrival, they find themselves stripped of their freedom and dignity. Their American dream turns into a nightmare of depraved sexual labor. Betrayed by those they trust the most, they are sucked into the belly of a monster called "sex trafficking".
