Deathbed

A group of young Glaswegian men have signed up for the City of Glasgow Battalion to fight in The First World War. It shows both the Home Front and Battlefield abroad.

Steven Dyer, an executive working for a giant multinational drugs company, decides to report his employer for breaches of Common Market trading regulations. One night in Basle, Switzerland, he leaves his home to post a letter, the start of a nightmare journey that leads to terrible consequences for his life, his career and for his wife and children.

Samia is the sixth of eight children in an Algerian family living in the outskirts of Marseille. Outside there are all the pressures and temptations of modern France; temptations Samia's brothers are watchful that she resists.
