Dead Certain

Desperate to step out of her famous mother's shadow and create her own legacy, an aspiring actress is taken under the wing of an eccentric film director who makes empty promises and surrounds her with reckless friends. An obsession with success leads her to a new, fast­paced lifestyle that eventually leaves her homeless, jobless and in the depths of a serious drug addiction.

When art collector, Anton Remianiuk and a literature graduate Miss Ana Morel, seek to recover a lost manuscript, they are confronted with the dangerous secrets of Paraguay and it's dark silent past.

Summer of 1964. Nothing happens in the little rural village, but suddenly somebody gets off the bus...

Moritz is fifteen years old and in the middle of puberty. His parents are in an economic crisis. Although the family still lives in a huge villa on the Elbchaussee in Hamburg, it is only a matter of time before they have to leave.

The film is a screen version of the novel by Dimitar Dimov (1909-1966) and deals with the conflicts and contradictions in Bulgarian society during a period stretching from the early thirties to the end of the Second World War.

The silent loner Marco is dreaming about a girl, but she seems to have disappeared. In a cold Halloween night, he searches for her once again. Chased by a mysterious man, he is dragged into a nightmarish race against time.
