Magic is when fantasy becomes reality, and this happens each year for three days in May on a small farm in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. "Glen Rock Fae" is the story of The Spoutwood Fairie Festival, which is the largest and longest running May Day fairy festival in the world. This unique event is a joyful celebration of spring, the earth, and life in general. The festival founders, Rob & Lucy Wood, have taken their philosophy of honoring nature through respect for all things and like a seed, have planted it with love on their farm. Through a dedicated group of volunteers, this seed sprouts and blooms into an amazing flower every spring. Although its roots are in fantasy and mythology we discover that the festival affects people in real and unexpected ways.

Meet Rubel, fourteen years old boy smuggling rice from India to Bangladesh. He has to cross the river Ganga acting as the international border. The same river eroded his home in mainland India when he was just four. Years later a fragile island called Char was formed within the large river. Rubel, with his family and many homeless people settled in this barren field controlled by the border police. He dreams of going his old school in India but reality forces him to smuggle stuff to Bangladesh. But he fights on while monsoon clouds arrive inviting the flood, the river swells up again. 'Char may disappear but we wont', smiles the boy.

When doctors painted a grim scenario and suggested Margaret and Bob consider their possibilities, they chose life. Their choice takes them on a sometimes frightening, but ultimately rewarding journey of discovery. Her single minded search for answers leads her to a community of not so ordinary people, where disability becomes different abilities, demonstrating the way of hope for her child.
