The story of identical twins, Raj and Sameer who get separated at birth and grow up living totally divergent lives.

About the outgoing nature of the 70s of the XX century. Director Andrey Zvonarev receives a state order to create a motion picture based on the script of the famous Soviet writer Razzamazov. Despite the fact that Zvonarev does not really want to shoot, as he believes, low-art and straightforward films, he cannot refuse the offer of the director of the film studio Nikolai Trofimov.
