Summary Vadim Teltsov moves to the capital, where he gets a position as a criminal investigation operative and a "one-bedroom apartment" in a residential area of Moscow. Life is well established, there is work, but one day one seemingly standard case turns the life of a cynical opera upside down: the investigation of the murder of businessman Yusov introduces Teltsov to a young rufer Max, the son of the murdered man. Teltsov's colleagues suspect Max of murdering his father, but Vadim is sure that the guy is innocent.
