The nuclear reactor catastrophes at Chernobyl, Three Mile Island, and now at Fukushima, Japan, remind us that a heinous specter hovers over the health and security of millions of people worldwide. Not only does the threat of nuclear weapons proliferation remain but every nuclear station sits as a ticking bomb awaiting meltdown and terrorist attack. Many Russian studies conclude that the Chernobyl disaster has been responsible for the deaths of approximately a million people since the 1986 meltdown. And the cost of the Daiichi Fukushima crisis may be higher. From the mining of radioactive materials to their transportation, from reactor fusion to the storage of radioactive waste, the energy cartel is contaminating natural habitats, rivers and aquifers while endangering millions of lives.

The election of the first African American President, Barack Obama in 2008, was celebrated worldwide. However, the situation of a large part of the African American community still remains outside the 'American Dream' despite decades since the Civil Rights -movement victories. Documentary tells about present day community activists, organizations and individuals. It examines the effect of the prison absence on the community and the family. Documentary gives the viewer a deep understanding of the reality by introducing organizations, such as Roseland Ceasefire, working to prevent street violence, and special schools in youth detention centers. American Director Joe Davidow explores systematic exclusion in the US from a European viewpoint.

In 2010, nine people were charged and prosecuted for attacking Parliament in Iceland a year before. The 'Reykjavik 9' were a diverse group of people, 20-40 years old, who had gone a step further than the general public which later deposed Iceland's government: three anarchist activists, two Christian socialists, a happy-go-lucky, hedonist mailman, one former small time crook... This film is a portrait of those nine people and their political vision(s) in the suspense during their trial.

The same month, directors Silvia Leindecker and Michael Fox set out on a trip around the country to ask the American people what they had to say about it. This is their story.
