Cartoon Therapy

Model Ruth Woods hosted this anthology series of twice-weekly one act plays. The stories could be either dramatic or light comedy with a different cast for each episode. The series ran for only the 1952-53 season.

Arika, the less intelligent girl in her school. She likes Kevin, a smart and handsome boy who becomes a school idol. Luckily she was able to live in the same house with Kevin after the fire incident at her house. Kevin didn't like it and asked Arika to keep it a secret.

Kiew is a villager, from one of the E-san villages, working in Bangkok. One day, his girlfriend breaks up with him. Heartbroken, Kiew decides to go back to his E-San Village, where he meets a girl called Chompoo. At first, Kiew and Chompoo didn't get along and fight all the time because Kiew wants to sell his grandmother's land which is occupied by Chompoo who works there. But as time went by Kiew starts seeing the sincerity of Chompoo. Will Chompoo and Kiew open up to each other about their feelings?

On 31st Street is a modern day "American Dream" story. Christina is a young girl that leaves Greece with the premonition of finding a better life in New York, but instead runs into some misfortune. Paralleling her misfortune, Alex, a young struggling actor has one friend that remains true to him, Irene. Irene has a good heart and in fact is the one that finds Christina. She is the link between these two people's lives.

A Swedish control freak looses his job, travels to India and discovers life, himself and the E-street shuffle of the East.
