Part documentary, part narrative and all spiritual. An Urban Indian Woman sets out to 'help her people' only to be helped by them more than ever imagined.

Isabel is a mule, a Spanish gypsy who was arrested in Venezuela flying back to Spain with drugs. She was pregnant and gave birth to her daughter, Rosita, in prison. She now sleeps in prison at nights and during the day lives with her daughter in a shantytown in the mountains of Caracas. Destined to live away from her family in a foreign country, with no possible return to Spain, Isabel struggles to survive with daughter in the chaos and violence of Caracas. 'Sin Vuelta' is a portrait of exile, of the reconstruction of a life, but also the portrait of a city in the midst of convulsion.

In Georgetown, Guyana, Muscle and his mother Mary each struggle to break free of something, bringing them into conflict with each other. Mary (74) wanders on the road, begs for money to get drunk, and sometimes falls down and hurts herself, so her son Muscle (43) decides that the only way to prevent her from hurting herself is to keep her locked up in her small, dark room. This desperate, extreme measure unearths a violent family history that soon reveal Muscle and Mary to be heroic survivors of an atrocious past who courageously fight to live life on their own terms.

SHADOW CHILD, a half-hour family documentary film, honors the power of one woman who, without help, money, or infrastructure, chose to change the future for thousands of the more than one-hundred-million orphan and refugee children around the world. Invigorated by her faith, like Mother Teresa, Norma Nashed, a Palestinian Arab woman, overcame a childhood of extreme poverty and, as a true hero of our culture, acted to house, feed, clothe, educate, and provide medical care for desperate children. SHADOW CHILD makes use of animation, poetry, personal stories, and interviews to provide potent and educational viewing for the entire family.

T.C. Williams High School is famous for its successful integration of its 1971 football team that won the State Championship, as depicted in the Disney hit film Remember The Titans. The high school also made strides toward ending gender bias by fully supporting a women's crew team, in 1974.
