Returning from war should be a joyous occasion, however, for those suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), coming home is difficult. PTSD is a mental health condition triggered by experiencing or seeing a terrifying event, such as the aftermath of war, including intense human suffering and the act of killing. 'Bridges' takes you into the lives of some of our returning veterans and gives you an inside look at some of the personal obstacles each has faced upon their return. The documentary also explores ways that veterans and their loved ones can identify these obstacles and focuses on solutions for all involved.
