Boy Meets Girl

Set against the enchanting backdrop of 1960's Brooklyn, Extra Innings tell the story of a young man who is caught between pursuing his dream and staying devoted to his Syrian Jewish family that is afflicted with mental illness.

The story of a macho straight and a well-educated gay man who have to share an apartment at a half-way house for aids-patients. Slowly they become friends.

Maier is working as the CFO of a Swiss car parts maker. When a new CEO takes over, Maier accepts him, but soon gets suspicious of him. A bitter struggle breaks out between the two men, leading to a failed IPO with Maier as the fall guy.

The year is 1999 and the storyline is actually a number of subplots all revolving around the 13-year old Clara, a girl who can predict the future and has telekinetic powers. The subplots include a boy in her class who has a crush on her, his family, her family, and her principal who keeps talking French for some strange reason.

Shiva meets Parvatha and the couple falls in love. However, misunderstandings weaken their bond and forces Parvatha to rethink about their relationship.

The film set, in post war Sri Lanka, brings us close to two characters who collide quite accidentally, and through them we experience the deep and seemingly unbridgeable chasm that conflict almost always creates. Will love help them cross the bridge? Or will the past continue to color the present? A man and a woman from the two ends of the thirty-year-old bloody civil war in Sri Lanka discover that the color of love is blue, and life, shades of grey.
