Early Season Opportunities

Bowhunter Magazine TV premieres with hosts Dwight Schuh and Mike Carney bringing viewers the most exciting multi-species bowhunts across North America. This week Bowhunter Magazine TV travels to Wyoming to hunt pronghorn antelope and the gang comes through with three P&Y-class bucks. Then it's on to scenic southeast Alaska for a backpacking trip to the top of the mountains where Dwight and crew hunt the beautiful Sitka blacktail deer.

Elk Adventures

This week's episode of Bowhunter Magazine TV features the heart-pounding thrills of bowhunting for bugling bull elk. Join Bowhunter Founder/Editor Emeritus M.R. James as he chases rutting bulls in the Colorado high country with outfitter Dennis Schutz of Big Bones Unlimited. Then follow Bowhunter Technical Editor Dave Holt on a do-it-yourself Colorado elk hunt on which a change of tactics works wonders. Dave has a close encounter with a mountain lion and then gets up close and personal with a beautiful 300-class bull.

This week's episode of Bowhunter Magazine TV focuses on the most sought after big game animal North America - the whitetail deer. TV Producer Larry D. Jones heads to Illinois with hunting partner Scott McIlvoy and learns some hard lessons about cagey Midwestern bucks. At the same time, show hosts Dwight Schuh and Mike Carney join Bowhunter Sales Manager Jeff Millar in Wisconsin. The team fills its quota on does and then takes aim on big bucks.

Then Bowhunter Equipment Editor Curt Wells takes a trolley ride and constructs a whitetail off-ramp to score on his largest Minnesota buck ever.
