Summary This is the story of an about 22-year-old determined young man (Luis Francisco), son of a prosperous landowner (Don Luis) settled in a province located in the northeast of the country. It all starts when one morning Luis Francisco decides to leave his family hacienda to go try his luck in the capital and demands to his father to give him the rightful portion of his inheritance. Despite the opposition of his father and his older brother he manages to get the money and goes to the capital where he encounters numerous hardships.
