A prominent defense attorney bearing the guilt of a murder committed by a client she had successfully defended in court. Jodelle Keyes is the daughter of a prominent politician who is in possession of one of the few copies of the book foretelling the arrival of the Avenger of blood. When she runs into trouble she's rescued by a quiet man named Joe Mizaki who she soon realizes fits the prophecies. When he hesitates due to the gravity of the undertaking, more innocent blood is shed and his road to becoming the Avenger becomes that much more difficult. The reluctant hero crosses paths with the weary detective and the guilt-ridden defense attorney on their road to Redemption.
