Summary In Rio Negro, São Paulo, wealthy, powerful industrialist Henrique Ribeiro marries sexy, famous actress Cláudia Toledo. Every night, Henrique finds excuses to leave Cláudia alone in bed, and when she decides to investigate if Henrique has a mistress, she is astonished to discover that he's gay. He proposes that if she keeps the appearance of a good marriage for two yeas, he will give her a fortune. When she has an affair with construction foreman Tomás, he convinces Cláudia that Henrique should be killed and hatches a plan.
