Dir. Hoi Kuok Meng who made this feature is seemed to be '' a father of Macau indie filmmaking.'' With his Japanese friend, professional filmmaker Ryota Nakanishi who is the film editor of the 2013 Amazon bestseller Japanese film Rakugo-Eiga. Before Dawn Cracks, as the title suggests, is a story which begins and ends in one night, sets in the contemporary Macau. And it's screened at Macau Film Festival in Osaka on 31 May 2014. And the Japanese filmmaker Ryota Nakanishi attended the festival to celebrate them.
