The Turn was dark, devastating. For 400 years man chased the shadow of his lost civilization. Those who survived the marauding bandits barely scratched an existence. From time's decay an idea emerged. Driven by an unknown power, the idea became a machine. Its goal, to unify all earthly realms at any cost. REMNANT IS ASSEMBLING. Remnant is the latest project from Penny Dreadful Productions. Starting out as a conceptual fashion line set in a post apocalyptic/steampunk genre, it has now moved on to the big screen with the help of Brothers Young Productions, Dim Horizon Studios, Amy Houser Illustrations, and other contributors to create five short vignettes to bring the characters to life.

Created in post-war Japan (1952), the character of Astroboy was originally meant to provide accessible commentary on the ethical use of technology in the nuclear age. Set in the year 2000, this narrative includes 20th century projections, such as genetically modified food and life forms. The present-day dual imagery matches the historic cartoon with the kind of visual comparisons made by a child at play. The entire piece is filmed in a single take inside a junkyard located on the historic WWII Wendover airfield in Utah - launch site of Enola Gay nuclear mission. It is as much a document of performance as it is a film.

A Surrealistic dream-scape of dancing shadow boxers, embodying the punches and blows dealt within a couple when jealousy raises it's antennae and a third is suspected of having entered the dance.

Small town, England. 1575. William embarks on a journey to prove the innocence of his wife, Twyla, falsely accused of being a witch and will be put to death if found guilty. William must hunt down the real witch, to save Twyla from death.
