Banned for Broadcast 5: Shinji Village

In a world plunged into the darkness of a global conflict, an international draft has occurred for any person over the age of eighteen. Sent into the depth of battle with barely enough training to last an hour, soldier after soldier is lost, but the draft continues. The Aesir, a squad of new recruits and battle hardened veterans alike, take the war one day at a time, doing their best to survive the massacre and live to see tomorrow. Jason Hermod, a recently drafted private feels no different. He hopes to finish out his days and return home, having done his duty. But when Jason gets word that his younger sister, a fellow draftee, has been lost in the depth of the jungle, he is wrecked with guilt. Sargent John Wodan, his commanding officer, makes sure his squad is in charge of the rescue mission. And so begins Operation Baldur. The mission is simple; locate the lost squad, rescue survivors and return to camp. But when the squad begin their long trek through the jungle, it becomes clear that there is something watching, something waiting, something wicked.

The story of a US Marine who has just returned home from the war in Iraq. In an attempt to reunite with his young wife and Vietnam veteran father, he takes them back to the family cabin in Montana. Once there, his past and present collide in a horrific tale of insanity.

Horrific Nazi experiments have left a surviving WWII soldier with a terrifying condition: at the sight of fresh blood, he transforms into a man-sized, blood-sucking killer insect. Refusing to let his affliction destroy him and all he loves, he instead commits himself to using his "powers" for good-by finding the people responsible and bringing them to justice.

Three soldiers find themselves lost in a seemingly endless forest on enemy soil as World War Two rages around them. Slowly the men run out of food and water, and then slowly lose their senses, turning on one another and fighting for their lives. Private Scott struggles to understand the will of the forest and escape the madness.

I Heard the Darkness is full of action, zombies, blood, and gore and will be screening at film festivals all over the world in 2013.
