Bajrang Aur Ali

Farrell Taggert boldly attempts to keep his family together in a small Washington Heights tenement in NYC, but the ghost from the past - drug addiction - threatens them at every turn.

Renowned psychiatrist Pavel Josek is singled out to receive a "Memory of the Nation" medal, however, it transpires that this reputedly morally irreproachable dissident once collaborated with state security agencies, informing on a former friend of his wife, Borek, and ultimately being responsible for the latter's forced emigration. Josek's family and close friends try to come to terms with these new facts.

To present five different contemporary stories involving different characters as one feature film. What these stories have in common is their expression of the way relational dysfunction prompts people to enact physical and/or emotional violence against themselves, each other or society. This common theme may be represented by a physical object or act that is not necessarily relevant to the plot, but which serves as a visual metaphor for the challenges facing different characters in different situations, who are confronted by the same problems.

Ram lives with his grandfather who is a retired army office and falls in love with Madhu who is the daughter of a rich corrupt politician. Madhu's father is totally against this alliance and prevents Ram meeting Madhu and even tells Madhu to stop seeing Ram but she does not listen. The politician then starts harassing the grandfather who goes back home to Punjab. Ram also decides to live with his grandfather and comes to see Madhu for the last time but sees he uncle dead and gets accused of the murder and Ram goes on the run. Now Ram is on the run from Madhu's father and the police. His grandfather comes back to help him and assures the police he will get Ram to surrender but things don't go as planned.
