Anino (The Shadow) is the hero of the poor sugar-cane workers who are abused by their evil boss Victor Valdez. When he hesitates due to the gravity of the undertaking, more innocent blood is shed and his road to becoming the Avenger becomes that much more difficult. The reluctant hero crosses paths with the weary detective and the guilt-ridden defense attorney on their road to Redemption.
